Do you fill another salons work?

Yes we do, although we do our best. In some cases a removal and new set is necessary 

What’s the difference between gel and acrylic?

Hard gel is a more flexible product. It’s applied then cured in the UV/LED light. Acrylic is a liquid and a powder.  

 

What’s the difference between gel polish and gel extensions?

Gel polish is applied in thin layers directly on the natural nail, not adding length. Gel extensions we add a tip for length, we then shape it to your desired look. Then we apply the gel product creating strength for the nail, and finish file adding a shiny topcoat! Gel extensions are meant to be filled every 3 weeks. Whereas gel polish is soaked off and completely redone each time. 

 

What is a strength coat under gel polish?

We use an amazing all natural gel product to create a thin barrier between your natural nail and the gel polish. This product does not lift, chip or peel. Using this strength coat you do not need to soak off the gel polish each time. We simply file off the old colour, fill the strength coat and apply your new colour! This method really promotes natural nail growth and strength!

 

Why does it cost more for long nails?

A longer set of nails takes more time and more product. Therefore taking a longer appt.

I want nails but I don’t want to file my natural  is that possible?

No, that is not possible. In order for any product to adhere to your nail, the natural nail must be buffed to remove all the shine. 

Why was I turned away after being 15 min late for my appointment?

We have a very tight schedule, showing up late for your appointment then puts us behind for our next appt. this can carry on through the entire day. It’s simply not fair to everyone involved. 

 

Cancellation/No Show policy

Appointments cancelled with at least 24 business hours notice will not be charged. Although we do ask you give as much notice as possible so we can fill the spot.

 

Appointments cancelled without 24 business hours notice will be charged 50% of your service cost.

No Shows will be charged 100% of the service cost.

 

Voicemails left after business hours will be considered as received the following business day.

I want nicely manicured natural looking nails. But I don’t want to look like I have fake nails? What can I do?

We carry a high end all natural gel product that is amazing for natural nail growth. It comes in beautiful natural looking colours. You can also add a gel polish colour on top if you’d like. This product lasts like a dream and is giving clients the natural look they desire.

What’s the difference between a senior and advanced technician?

Our senior techs are very skilled, and have experience in the industry.
Advanced techs are based on years of experience and overall skill level.
